Welcome to the Working with Data Sample Sites
This site is being built to demonstrate various web based connections and
displays from a SQL database belonging to a
fictitious company called Northwind.
Connecting and using data from a remote SQL database can be a daunting task,
specially if the server does not allow remote connections. However what seems like a difficult job, once you find the way, is it not too hard.
Another difficulty I have been able to surpass, is that my web server
allows only 1 ASP connection from the root directory, but I have been able
to use various folders with different ASP websites to display many ASP sites.
Over time, I will include a host of samples that demonstrate different ways and
views of web based data.
